Process Description

The gaseous Chlorine Dioxide sterilization / decontamination process consists of five main steps:
• Pre-Condition - optional leak testing and raising of relative humidity
• Condition - hold time at relative humidity
• Charge - generation and delivery of chlorine dioxide gas
• Exposure - hold time at CD concentration
• Aeration - purging of chamber to remove chlorine dioxide gas
